Diflucan is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic, used to treat a wide range of infections. It can be used to treat:

  • Bone and joint infections;
  • Skin and soft tissue infections;
  • Stroke and heart infections;
  • Respiratory tract infections;
  • Ear infections and sinusitis;
  • Urinary tract infections;
  • Urinary tract infections of the urinary system and kidneys;
  • Hepatitis, cirrhosis, and other conditions that may affect the liver;
  • Gastrointestinal infections.

The medication is available in two dosage forms: 500 mg and 1,000 mg tablets.
